An unidentified woman suspected to be between 30 to 40 years old was found dead after a deadly hit-and-run crash in Long Beach on Wednesday night, April 20, 2022.

The woman was reportedly walking in a marked crosswalk when a passing 2002 Toyota Avalon suddenly struck her.

The driver did not stop to render aid and drove away from the scene. Authorities later found the woman’s body on the roadway.

Unfortunately, the woman was killed in the accident. They suspect that the woman may have been homeless.

Authorities later found the suspect’s vehicle several blocks away from the accident site. It was abandoned on Santa Fe Avenue, and the driver was nowhere to be found.
