An unidentified 69-year-old man was seriously hurt after a motorcycle crash in the Egger Highlands neighborhood on Thursday evening, April 21, 2022.

The elderly man was riding a 2003 Honda Shadow eastbound on Coronado Avenue when a 2002 Toyota Corolla suddenly made s turn in front of him. The two vehicles then crashed.

The older man sustained multiple fractures to his leg and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The Toyota driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The driver and his two passengers were uninjured by the mishap.

Local authorities are further investigating the case. Drugs and alcohol were not considered factors in the accident.
