Some people would rather handle their own personal injury claims than hire an attorney. But it is important to be aware of the possible risks. Unrepresented accident victims receive lower settlements than those who are represented.

Unintentional collisions with more than two vehicles are much more difficult to resolve than those involving just one vehicle. Victims may find it difficult to deal with a multi-vehicle crash lawsuit because of the pain and suffering they have endured since the accident.
