[04-22-2023] 52-Year-Old Man Killed, Three Others Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash in Garden GroveA 52-year-old man was killed, and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Garden Grove on Saturday afternoon, April 22, 2023.

The Garden Grove Police Department and Orange County Fire Authority rushed to the scene after learning of the crash near Century Boulevard and Nelson Street shortly after 3:30 p.m.

According to GGPD, all four victims were taken to nearby hospitals for unspecified injuries, with one succumbing after arriving.

The identity of the deceased patient is withheld until the next of kin is notified. The current states of the other three patients are unknown.

Due to the ongoing investigation, the area was closed for several hours.

Officers are unsure whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
