[04-24-2022] Fresno County, CA - One Killed, Another Injured After a Fatal Head-On Crash Near Lake AvenueA 45-year-old man identified as Eliseo V. was killed while another person was seriously hurt following a deadly head-on crash near Lake Avenue on Sunday evening, April 24, 2022.

The fatal collision transpired at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the area of S Lake and W American Avenue.

The 45-year-old man was initially traveling westbound on American Avenue when he veered into the opposite lanes for unclear reasons and crashed into an oncoming Mini Cooper.

Unfortunately, the 45-year-old man was killed in the accident. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Meanwhile, the female Mini Cooper driver sustained major injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.

It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
