[04-24-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Fatal Car Accident in El Segundo Results in One DeathOne unidentified man was killed after a deadly two-vehicle crash in El Segundo on Sunday morning, April 24, 2022.

The deadly collision transpired at approximately 8:05 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of 105 Freeway, near North Nash Street.

A white sedan crashed into a Caltrans truck that was parked in the center divider. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash.

The sedan driver was found passed out with his head on the steering wheel and was heavily bleeding. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene; he was the sole occupant in the vehicle.

No other injuries were reported. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. It’s unclear whether intoxication was a factor in the crash.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the cause of the collision.
