[04-25-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Hospitalized After Reckless Driving Accident in San Marino

One person was hospitalized for pain after a reckless driving accident in San Marino on Tuesday afternoon, April 25, 2023.

According to Sgt. V. Wilson of San Marino Police Department, their officers responded after receiving reports of a two-vehicle crash on Huntington Drive and San Gabriel Blvd. at around 2:00 p.m.

Bobby C. from Azusa, one of the drivers involved, reportedly stood outside his car brandishing a handgun. Without further incident, he was taken into custody. A loaded gun was found on his waistband after a body search by detectives.

Officers also discovered a second loaded gun in Chung’s truck and a white powdery substance inside his backpack on the front passenger seat that appeared to be cocaine.

The condition of the other driver involved in the collision, who was transported to the hospital for pain, is unknown.

There was no confirmation that the driver was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident.
