[04-26-2022] Head-On Crash on Panama Lane Results in Multiple InjuriesAccording to the Bakersfield Police Department, one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Panama Lane on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

The crash occurred around 1:17 p.m. on the 1100 block of Panama Lane.

According to officials, the woman was a passenger in an SUV in which the driver had a medical emergency before drifting into oncoming traffic.

According to officials, she was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where she is in stable condition.

Both the SUV driver and the driver of the other car in the collision, both men, sustained minor injuries.

The crash does not appear to have been caused by drugs or alcohol, according to BPD officials.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
