The collision occurred in the area of Sunrise Avenue and Coloma Way in Roseville at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Five vehicles collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

Six people were injured in the mishap. Two people were critically injured, while four others sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were all taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the collision.
