[04-28-2023] Three Hospitalized, Including Community Service Officer, After Multi-Vehicle Crash Outside Glen EllenThree people, including a community service officer, were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash outside Glen Ellen, Sonoma County, on Friday, April 28, 2023.

According to California Highway Patrol spokesperson Officer David deRutte, at approximately 10:34 a.m., a 17-year-old was driving a Ford Mustang east on Bennett Valley Road near Keiser Ranch Road when they veered into the oncoming lane.

To avoid the Mustang, a sheriff’s office community service officer driving a white van swerved and collided with a tree. A woman driving a Honda Accord was behind the van and was hit head-on.

DeRutte said on Sunday that all three drivers were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.

The authorities have not released further details about the crash and the victims.
