[04-29-2022] Napa County, CA – Two PG&E Workers Hurt Following a Calistoga Workplace Accident

Two unidentified Pacific Gas and Electric employees were hurt after a workplace accident near Calistoga on Friday afternoon, April 29, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened at approximately 4:40 p.m. along Highway 29 near Calistoga.

The two workers were initially conducting a hydrotest on the gas line along the highway when an unexpected explosion occurred.

Emergency personnel immediately responded to the scene and found the two workers injured. They were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

It’s unclear what caused the explosion. Information about the incident is limited at the moment. The identities of the workers have not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
