[04-30-2022] One Person Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash in TemeculaAccording to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Temecula on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

The collision occurred at 6:59 p.m. in Temecula city limits near Jefferson Avenue and Calle Cortez.

A preliminary investigation by the sheriff’s department revealed that a motorcyclist — whose identity was withheld — slammed into the back of an SUV.

The sheriff’s department is still looking into why the motorcycle driver failed to stop in time.

No other injuries were reported, and the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff’s department stated it is unknown if intoxication played a role in this collision.
