[04-30-2023] 10-Year-Old Child Hospitalized Following Two-Vehicle Collision on Bay BridgeA 10-year-old child was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in San Francisco on Sunday night, April 30, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 7:50 p.m. west of Treasure Island.

According to the report, the accident involved two sedans, an Audi and a Dodge. During the collision, the Audi flipped over, obstructing multiple traffic lanes.

To clear the overturned car, crews had to shut down all the eastbound traffic lanes heading toward Oakland for about 13 minutes.

Emergency medical technicians took a 10-year-old passenger from the Audi to a hospital as a precautionary measure.
