Two people were injured in a suspected DUI crash on Interstate 405 early Sunday morning, May 1, 2022.
According to the preliminary information, the crash was reported at approximately 1:47 a.m. on Jamboree Road.
According to initial reports, the accident involved a white Toyota Tacoma, a black Mercedes Benz SUV, and a blue Toyota Mirai.
A grey BMW SUV reportedly collided with the 2020 Toyota Mirai for unknown reasons.
Following that, the white Toyota Corolla collided with the debris from the crash, as well as the 2020 Toyota Mirai.
Emergency crews transported at least two people with unspecified injuries to a local hospital upon arrival.
The accident caused damage to five vehicles.
Officials believe the Toyota Mirai’s driver was under the influence of alcohol.
There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
