According to the California Highway Patrol, the fiery crash happened around 3:22 p.m. along westbound Interstate 80.

Three vehicles were reportedly involved, including an SUV that overturned and got caught fire.

The number of people involved and the extent of possible injuries are currently unknown, but authorities are investigating the fiery crash.
