[05-02-2022] Contra Costa County, CA - Pedestrian Crash on San Vicente Boulevard Results in One FatalityAccording to authorities, a pedestrian was struck and killed along San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood on Monday morning, May 2, 2022.

The firefighters responded to the crash just before 7:00 a.m. near the Brentwood County Club, at the intersection of Vicente Blvd. and South Burlingame Ave.

Officials said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The person accused of striking the victim remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.

The West Division of the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the fatal crash.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
