[05-02-2022] Fresno County, CA – Three Person Killed After a Deadly Head-On Collision in Sutter Avenue

The names of the victims have been released for the victims of a deadly head-on collision in Sutter Avenue last Monday, May 2, 2022.

According to news reports, Logan A. the son of the woman killed in the crash, reached out asking us not to leave his family unnamed: His mother, Natalie S., and his sister, Savannah F., both died.

The Dodge Ram had one person inside, who was also killed. The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has not yet released that person’s name.

Although the crash remains under investigation, officers say someone was either distracted or tried to pass another vehicle before the crash took place. It’s currently unknown who is at fault, police say.

According to The California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 2:40 pm on Highway 33 north of Sutter Avenue.

According to The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the two victims were identified as Natalie S., 39, and Savanah F., two-year-old, were killed in the crash. Deputies say Fagundes was Sheperd’s daughter.

According to investigators, a pickup truck and a van collided on the highway’s southbound lane.

The flames quickly consumed the truck, which caught fire.

Officers are still investigating the details surrounding the collision.

The identity of the third victim is unknown.
