[05-02-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - Young Boy Injured After a Pedestrian Crash in VictorvilleAn unidentified 14-year-old boy was hurt following a pedestrian accident on Topaz Road on Monday morning, May 2, 2022.

The accident happened at the intersection of La Mesa Road and Topaz Road, near Mesa Linda Middle School, at approximately 7:46 a.m.

The young boy tried to cross the street near the Mesa Linda Middle School when he was suddenly struck by a passing vehicle.

The boy attempted to sit up following the accident and was in extreme pain. Emergency personnel rushed the boy to an area hospital for treatment. ‘

The driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with the authorities. No other injuries were reported.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the cause of the accident.
