[05-02-2023] 29-Year-Old Man Killed Following Two-Vehicle Crash in Flinn SpringsA 29-year-old man identified as Jared M. was killed following a two-vehicle crash in Flinn Springs, San Diego County, on Tuesday afternoon, May 2, 2023.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred near Lake Jennings Park Road when the victim was heading east shortly before 5:00 p.m.

Authorities stated that the victim’s Ford pickup collided with another vehicle, overturned, and rolled multiple times before coming to rest on the westbound shoulder of the freeway.

The victim was reportedly ejected from his pickup truck and suffered extensive head and upper body blunt force trauma.

Further information about the collision was not immediately available. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by authorities.
