The suspect of the deadly two-vehicle crash in Los Alamitos last Tuesday, May 3, 2022, has been identified.
According to Long Beach police, Bryan G., 66, was behind the wheel of a 2017 Subaru Outback that rear-ended a 1995 GMC Yukon, which went off the side of Willow Street and into the Coyote Creek flood control channel.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.
The victim driver of a 1995 GMC Yukon, a 53-year-old Compton man, was pronounced dead. His name was withheld pending notification of his family.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened at 6:20 p.m. on Willow Street near Coyote Creek.
The collision forced one driver off the bridge and landed in the flood control below.
The Orange County Fire Authority took both drivers to the hospital.
The driver that landed in the flood control died.
Police have yet to identify the victim.
It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
Local authorities are further investigating the case.
