[05-03-2022] One Killed, Another Injured Following a Deadly Collision in WinchesterThe man who was killed after a deadly two-vehicle crash in Winchester last Tuesday afternoon, May 3, 2022.

The BMW driver was identified as 23-year-old Ian R. He was allegedly driving at high speeds and was broadsided by a pickup truck, leading to his death.

Information about the accident is limited at the moment. The accident is currently under further investigation.

One person was akilled while another was hurt following a fatal two-vehicle crash in Winchester on Tuesday afternoon, May 3, 2022.

The accident transpired at approximately 1:20 p.m. on the southbound lanes of Highway 79 near Patterson Avenue.

A northbound BMW traveled on Highway 79 at high speeds when the driver attempted to drive through a left curve and lost control of his vehicle.

Meanwhile, a southbound Toyota pickup truck was traveling on the south side of Highway 79 when the BMW drove into the pickup truck’s path and crashed into the pickup’s front end.

Unfortunately, the BMW driver could not survive his injuries and was killed in the crash. Meanwhile, the pickup truck driver sustained minor injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

Local authorities are further investigating the case. They will attempt to determine the cause and the liability of the accident.
