[05-03-2022] San Diego County, CA – 56-Year-Old Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Pacific Beach

According to the police, a 56-year-old man was taken to the hospital after being injured in a hit-and-run accident in San Diego’s Pacific Beach neighborhood Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

According to San Diego Police Officer John Buttle, the officers were dispatched around 12:30 a.m. to the 2700 block of Garnet Avenue.

A man was reportedly struck by a vehicle while sitting on the center median.

Police described the vehicle as dark red with rally sport rims and fleeing in a westbound direction.

The driver’s identity was not revealed.

According to Buttle, the crash left the victim with a fractured right femur.

The victim’s identity was not publicly disclosed.
