[05-03-2022] Tulare County, CA – 70-Year-Old Pedestrian Man Fatally Struck By Truck in Tulare

The Tulare Police Department is investigating a fatal collision that killed a pedestrian on Blackstone Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred just after 9:00 pm on Blackstone between Kern and Sonora.

According to police, the man was crossing the street in Blackstone when he was struck by a truck.

The 70-year-old man was not in a crosswalk when he was struck.

He died at a nearby hospital 30 minutes later.

According to police, the driver remained at the scene.

There’s no word on whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
