[05-03-2023] Female Motorist Died in a Two-Vehicle Collision at Mead Valley IntersectionOne female driver died after a two-vehicle crash at a Mead Valley intersection in Riverside County on Wednesday at noon, May 03, 2023.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash happened at approximately 12:20 p.m. at Cajalco Road and Seaton Avenue. The two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.

The paramedics responded immediately, and one of the drivers, who was only identified as a female, died on the scene. There have been no other injuries reported.

The California Highway Patrol has closed the intersection to investigate and clear the wreckage.

The cause of the collision, the identities of the parties, and the involvement of either drugs or alcohol are still being investigated.
