According to California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles on 105 Freeway Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
The crash occurred at around 11:00 a.m at westbound 105 Freeway near the Garfield Avenue exit.
According to the CHP, a person walking on the freeway was struck by at least one car before officers arrived and attempted to assist.
The initial call stated that the individual had been hit by several vehicles, including a big rig, and that the caller was attempting to restrain an individual on the side of the freeway.

The man died after being taken to the hospital.
The accident’s cause is still under investigation.
