[05-04-2023] At Least Two People Injured After High-Speed Multi-Vehicle Crash in TemeculaA woman, and a child, sustained mild to moderate injuries after a high-speed multi-vehicle crash in Temecula on Thursday afternoon, May 04, 2023.

According to Officer Mike Lassig of the CHP Temecula, the tow truck rear-ended a car on southbound I-15 at around 3:30 p.m., causing it to roll over. It continued on its course and hit two more vehicles before stopping.

When the authorities arrived, they discovered the accident victims outside their cars. The crash disturbed trees on the right shoulder, holding a hive of bees, causing a swarm. As per reports, nobody got stung.

All occupants of the cars involved have exited the cars by themselves. However, the woman and child inside the overturned car sustained mild to moderate injuries and were transported by ambulance to Inland Valley Hospital.

There were no further details regarding how many people were injured and the extent of their injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and speed and distracted driving didn’t seem to be one of the contributing factors. The authorities reminded motorists to remain safe and avoid getting distracted.

The collision blocked lanes and slowed traffic near the Winchester Road exit for about an hour Thursday afternoon.
