[05-05-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hit-And-Run Crash in Pico-Union

According to The Los Angeles Police Department, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Pico-Union Thursday, May 5, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred just after 10 p.m. near Pico Boulevard and Vermont Avenue.

According to the police, the driver of what was described as a white compact car hit the pedestrian and took off.

The driver was last seen heading southbound on Vermont Avenue.

According to the police, a Metro Bus may also have possibly hit the pedestrian after the initial crash.

The bus driver reportedly contacted LAPD and stayed at the scene.

The police are still looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash.

The crash is still being investigated.
