A pedestrian was struck and killed on Jurupa Valley street on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the fatality occurred around 1:20 a.m. on Mission Boulevard, just east of Pedley Road.
The circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately clear.
According to Sgt. Rafael Lopez, the paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity and gender were not immediately disclosed.
The motorist’s whereabouts were unknown, but no one was arrested.
