One unidentified person was killed after a deadly motorcycle traffic crash in Apple Valley on Thursday morning, May 5, 2022.
The fatal accident occurred on Central Road near Sioux Road in Apple Valley at approximately 10:00 a.m.
A black Yamaha sportbike and a red four-door sedan were involved in the collision. How the accident occurred and why it happened have not been established.
The motorcycle rider was reportedly ejected, and his body landed relatively far from the crash scene. The rider was immediately taken to an area hospital, but he later succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead.
Information about the accident is limited at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
An active investigation of the collision is currently underway.
