[05-05-2022] One Person Hurt After a Motorcycle Crash in Lucerne ValleyAn unidentified 75-year-old man was hurt following a motorcycle crash in Lucerne Valley on Thursday afternoon, May 5, 2022.

The accident happened at approximately 2:35 p.m. on Camp Rock Road and Rabbit Springs Road in Lucerne Valley.

The 75-year-old man was riding a Yamaha motorcycle when it collided with an oncoming semi-truck. The Yamaha rider was allegedly recklessly driving.

The motorcycle rider sustained a serious injury to his arm and was heavily bleeding. He was airlifted to Loma Linda Medical Center for treatment.
The semi-truck driver remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with authorities. He was uninjured in the mishap.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the crash.
