[05-05-2022] 24-Year-Old Man Dead After Hit-And-Run Collision in WatsonvilleAccording to Watsonville Police a 24-year-old man was fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Main Street Thursday, May 5, 2022.

The deadly collision occurred at 10:30 p.m. at 1900 block of Main Street.

According to police, the victim was life-flighted to an out-of-county trauma center and passed away early Friday morning.

Witnesses said a white four-door sedan was seen driving away from the scene toward Highway 1.

There are no other details available.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Officer Corey Johnston at 831-768-5374.
