Injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Bellflower on Friday afternoon, May 6, 2022.

The pedestrian was reportedly waving vehicle debris at passing cars; as he walked along 91 Freeway, a big rig swerved to avoid him.

The big rig then crashed into another vehicle in the process. The big rig’s gasoline tank was punctured, causing a large spillage of diesel fuel.

Several people were injured in the mishap. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. The pedestrian was described as a white male wearing a black t-shirt with jeans, a black backpack, and carrying a skateboard.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
