[05-06-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Injuries Reported After a Multi-Vehicle Collision in Bellflower

Injuries were reported following a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Bellflower on Friday afternoon, May 6, 2022.

According to the initial reports from the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Bellflower along the 91 Freeway.

The pedestrian was reportedly waving vehicle debris at passing cars; as he walked along 91 Freeway, a big rig swerved to avoid him.

The big rig then crashed into another vehicle in the process. The big rig’s gasoline tank was punctured, causing a large spillage of diesel fuel.

Several people were injured in the mishap. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. The pedestrian was described as a white male wearing a black t-shirt with jeans, a black backpack, and carrying a skateboard.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
