One person was killed, and another was critically injured in a fatal two-vehicle collision in the unincorporated area of Woodcrest on Friday, May 6, 2022.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the crash occurred at 7:20 a.m. near Mockingbird Canyon and Harley John roads south of Riverside.
According to fire officials, the firefighters freed a trapped person from the wreckage.
One person died at the scene, while another was taken by ambulance to a hospital in critical condition.
There were no immediate details about what caused the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
