[05-06-2023] 44-Year-Old Motorcyclist Died After Hit & Run Crash on Maple and Washington AvenueA 44-year-old motorcyclist, Jason M., was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Fresno County on Saturday afternoon, May 6, 2023.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident occurred at Maple and Washington Avenues.

As per the report, the accident happened when the motorcyclist, traveling south on Maple Avenue at high speed, collided with a dark-colored SUV traveling north and made a left-hand turn.

During the crash, the motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and suffered fatal injuries. At the scene, he was pronounced dead. The motorcycle was found on the road.

The SUV driver fled the scene, and authorities are searching for them. The investigation is ongoing.
