Two people were hurt following a traffic crash involving a suspected DUI crash on State Route 12 on Saturday night, May 7, 2022.
The collision happened at approximately 9:05 p.m. in the area of James Canyon Road (State Route 12).
A westbound 2016 Kia Optima was traveling on SR 12 when it rear-ended a 2007 GMC Yukon. The Kia driver was identified as 25-year-old Rayna Annmarie D. Authorities determined that she was under the influence at the time of the accident.
The GMC driver and passenger were injured following the mishap and received treatment from the responding medics.
The DUI driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI causing injury and was booked into the Napa County jail.
An active investigation is currently underway.
