According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. in Van Ness Avenue and Merced Street.

As per the report, the car hit the person after shots were fired during a disturbance. The victim was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. Fortunately, no one was struck by the gunfire.

The officials have not disclosed any other information regarding the incident.
