Two people were hospitalized, including a person in a wheelchair, following a two-vehicle crash in Bakersfield late Sunday evening, May 7, 2023.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the collision occurred around 11:18 p.m. at Rosedale Highway and Calloway Drive.

The victim in the wheelchair had moderate injuries, while the other suffered possible injuries. Responding paramedics transferred both individuals to a nearby hospital.
