According to a California Highway Patrol press release, two people were injured in a DUI crash near Calistoga on Monday, May 8, 2022.
The crash occurred at about 8:00 p.m. on southbound State Route 29, north of Tubbs Lane.
According to the press release, Sergio L., the car driver, a 2016 Ford F650, reportedly ran off the road and collided with a barrier.
One of Lemus’ two passengers, who were both San Francisco residents, was seriously injured in the collision.
The passenger who suffered a serious injury was taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa by ambulance for treatment.
Lemus was arrested at around 9:00 p.m. for felony driving under the influence and causing great bodily harm and a misdemeanor charge of driving without a license.
