[05-08-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Woman Struck and Killed by School Bus in La Puente

A woman died after being struck and killed by a School bus in La Puente on Monday afternoon, May 8, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. on Hacienda Boulevard and Fairgrove Avenue.

As per the report, a school bus was found along with an unresponsive pedestrian on the ground. Unfortunately, the woman died at the scene.

Following the incident, it was reported that students were on the bus during the collision. However, no injuries were reported besides the pedestrian who was killed.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash, responsible for handling all traffic collisions involving school buses.
