According to Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident occurred at approximately 12:21 a.m. on East Gage Avenue and East Slauson Avenue in Commerce.

The report said the sheriff’s department was notified about a single-vehicle rollover with two people trapped. Responding firefighters immediately extricated both individuals from the vehicle and brought them to a nearby hospital.

The reason for the accident is currently unclear. The investigation is ongoing.
