[05-10-2023] One Person Killed and Another Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision in ThermalA 20-year-old woman was killed, and another person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in Thermal, Riverside County, on Wednesday evening, May 10, 2023.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, fire crews responded to the scene at 8:50 p.m. at the 67000 block of Harrison Street after receiving reports of a two-vehicle collision.

The woman reportedly died before first responders arrived at the scene. The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Karla F. on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

Another person involved in the crash was transported to a trauma center, and a third person declined medical attention.

One of the vehicles sustained significant damage.

The authorities are still looking into the cause of the collision.
