[05-10-2023] Sacramento County, CA – Two People Injured Following Possible Single-Vehicle DUI Crash in Citrus Heights

Two people were injured following a possible single-vehicle DUI crash in Citrus Heights early Wednesday morning, May 10, 2023.

According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, the crash happened past midnight along Auburn Boulevard.

A vehicle crashed and damaged a SMUD power pole, which caused a power outage in the area.

Two people reportedly sustained minor injuries. Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

Authorities have not released further information and are currently conducting investigations.
