According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, the crash happened past midnight along Auburn Boulevard.

A vehicle crashed and damaged a SMUD power pole, which caused a power outage in the area.

Two people reportedly sustained minor injuries. Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

Authorities have not released further information and are currently conducting investigations.
