[05-11-2022] Riverside County, CA – Head-On Crash in Cathedral City Results in Injuries to Two People

Authorities said two men were injured in a head-on collision in Cathedral City on Tuesday, May 11, 2022.

The collision occurred around 4:00 p.m. in the 31200 block of Landau Boulevard.

A gray Toyota Corolla was driving south on Landau Boulevard and had just passed McCallum Way when a black Nissan Altima heading north crossed into the southbound lanes, according to the Cathedral City Police Department’s investigation officer.

The driver of the northbound Altima told officers that a third party veered into the northbound lane, forcing him into the southbound lanes.

The unknown third party has yet to be identified.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
