According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. on 28th Street along eastbound State Route 94.

The male pedestrian was walking along the freeway when a black sedan struck him and left him with a broken arm.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, while the suspect remains at large.

The authorities have not provided further information but are currently conducting an investigation.
