[05-11-2023] Three People Injured and Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision in JamulThree people suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in rural Jamul, East San Diego County, on Thursday evening, May 11, 2023.

California Highway Patrol received a report regarding the traffic collision around 7:08 p.m. at State Route 94 and Otay Lakes Road.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered and rescued a woman trapped in her vehicle. She sustained severe injuries and was transported to Sharp Memorial.

The other car’s occupants were a man and a woman, who was seriously injured in the crash. They were both taken to a local hospital by paramedics.

Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available. The authorities are still investigating the cause behind the crash.
