[05-13-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Five People Injured Following Two-Vehicle Crash in Newhall

Five people were sent to the hospital after an SUV flipped over the center divider on the 14 Freeway on Friday, May 13, 2022.

According to Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesperson Geovanni Sanchez, the crash was reported at 11:40 a.m. on the 14 Freeway near Placerita Canyon Road in Newhall.

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs, a southbound SUV collided with another car before flipping over and landing on the northbound side of the 14 Freeway.

According to Sanchez, one person was trapped and extricated from the wreckage.

According to Fire officials, five people were taken to the hospital in unknown conditions as a result of the crash.
The accident caused traffic congestion on both sides of the 14 Freeway.
