[05-13-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – Motorcyclist Hospitalized Following Two-Vehicle Collision in Hesperia

A motorcyclist was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Hesperia on Saturday evening, May 13, 2023.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Hesperia Station, the collision occurred around 8:30 p.m. between Maple Avenue and Sycamore Street.

A Chevrolet Silverado was heading east of Sycamore Street when a motorcycle rider, coming from southbound Maple Avenue, struck the vehicle.

The victim suffered lower body injuries and was taken to a nearby trauma center. The driver of the Silverado was unharmed.

The authorities are investigating the collision. They reported that a stop sign does not control Maple Avenue’s north and southbound lanes, while Sycamore Street’s east and westbound lanes are controlled by one.
