Two drivers were injured following a major head-on collision in Marysville on Friday afternoon, May 14, 2022.

[05-14-2022] Yuba County, CA - Two Drivers Hospitalized Following a Head-On Crash in MarysvilleThe collision transpired at approximately 4:26 p.m. in the area of Simpson Lane, near Simpson Dantoni Lane in Marysville.

A southbound truck veered into the northbound lanes for unclear reasons and crashed into another truck.

Both drivers were injured in the mishap. They were identified as 47-year-old Thomas H. and 30-year-old Julie L. they were taken to Rideout Hospital for treatment.

Authorities later determined that Thomas was under the influence at the time of the accident, and he was arrested and booked into the Yuba County Jail for DUI-related charges.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
