[05-18-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck On Interstate-5 Freeway

According to California Highway Patrol, an unidentified person was fatally struck in the Los Feliz area Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

The fatal collision transpired before 6:15 a.m. on the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway in the Los Feliz area.

A person who apparently was hit by one or more vehicles was found dead.

According to the CHP, the body was found near the center divider of the freeway north of Los Feliz Boulevard.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally injured person.

Two southbound lanes were blocked in the area while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the death.

The investigation is still ongoing.
