[05-18-2022] Orange County, CA - Multi-Vehicle Crash in Mission Viejo Results in One FatalityAccording to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed after three cars collided on Interstate 5 southbound through Mission Viejo on Wednesday night, May 18, 2022.

The authorities said the crash occurred at 10:51 p.m. on the I-5 freeway near Crown Valley Parkway.

According to the CHP log, three cars were involved in the crash, which left one car on its back wheels and another completely flipped over.

The deceased person’s identity is unknown.

There are no other details available.

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
